Dylan Dreyer Confirms Divorce From Brian Fichera Is Final as Her Mom Moves In
"Today" show host Dylan Dreyer shared a glimpse at her new living situation, while confirming that she is "recently divorced" from her ex-husband, Brian Fichera.
The 45-year-old TV personality—who announced her split from Fichera in July 2025—revealed in a new episode of her podcast, "The Parent Chat," that their divorce had been finalized, adding that her mom, Linda, has moved in with her and her children, sons Calvin, 9, Oliver, 6, and Russell, 4.
“I don’t know what I would do without having my mom here. I don’t think a couple years ago, my mom ever thought that she would be kinda living with me, emptying out backpacks, cleaning off the lunch boxes, and helping me run everybody around. But it is what it is, and now she’s here. And I honestly don’t know what I would do without her," she explained.
Although Linda doesn't reside near Dreyer, she stays with her for "weeks, months at a time."

“I’m blessed that my mom is retired, and she can stay with me and kind of give up her life back home for a little while,” Dreyer added.
Linda even surprised fans when she chimed in on the podcast, adding, “I enjoy being here. I love being there. I just kind of wish it wasn’t so far away so I could run home for another couple days here and there, but it’s a long distance and it’s not my favorite thing to fly.”
And, their new household setup has even helped them get closer, according to Dreyer.
“I feel like we’ve gotten closer in the last couple of years. I think you’ve been here for me in a way that I never would have asked you otherwise. But I needed you, and you stepped up to that, and you’re here to help me," Dreyer said.
Meanwhile, Linda joked that her daughter was much more laid back when it came to tidying up around the house, before noting that she doesn't know how she manages to balance everything.
“Sometimes I think maybe you take on too much,” Linda said. “Like, you’re spread so thin sometimes. I don’t think I could have done something like that.”
The news of her mom staying with her, comes nearly a year after it was revealed that she had moved to the suburbs.
In November, the TV personality revealed in November that she had followed in the footsteps of fellow on-air hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager by quitting city life in favor of the suburbs.
Dreyer previously broke her silence on her breakup for the first time on Nov. 5, when she appeared as a co-host on "Today With Jenna & Friends."
She went on to share some insight into how her relationship with her former spouse has evolved since they decided to end their marriage, insisting that they still have a very close bond.

"Everybody has their reasons for what leads to a separation or divorce. That’s another story with a lot of wine and that’s a whole different thing, but either way, we’ve gotten to this place,” she shared.
“And there’s something freeing, I think, for Brian and I where—whatever reasons, whatever broke in a marriage—you could either fix it if you can and ideally you would and you try, and you try to fix things. Or you accept that it’s broken and you take this new step forward."
The host previously teased their move on her Instagram by sharing images of her children posing for their first day of school outside of their suburban house, which is surrounded by lush greenery, and one image of the family having dinner while moving boxes sat near them.
Dreyer and Fichera originally listed their marital abode, where they were raising their three sons, in November 2024 with an asking price of $2.49 million.
At the time, the couple did not comment on why they had made the decision to part ways with the property. However, Dreyer had previously said that they were starting to outgrow the space, leading some to believe that they were hoping to move into a bigger place.
Dreyer then stunned fans at the start of July when she announced that she and Fichera were going their separate ways after 13 years of marriage, revealing the news in an emotional statement shared on her Instagram account.
Interestingly, just a few days after announcing their split, they removed the listing for their two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit—before putting it back on the market at the reduced price of $1.99 million.
Dreyer and Fichera purchased the two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo in June 2016, according to property records, just a few months before they welcomed Calvin.
She and Fichera also own a stunning beach house in Point Lookout, NY, which they purchased in 2021 for $2.5 million.
